MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AT STFC
While completing my apprenticeship in mechanical engineering at STFC, I engaged in an intensive blend of academic study and hands-on application. My training encompassed core engineering disciplines, including design, thermodynamics, materials science, and systems engineering, providing a rigorous academic foundation that was enhanced through practical experience in precision machining, fabrication, and complex system assembly. This combination of theoretical knowledge and practical expertise has been instrumental in my forensic work, enabling me to apply engineering principles and analytical rigor to firearm classification and investigative analysis.
